1. Who we are
ThreadJet is offered by Outbox Labs, Inc. ("Outbox Labs," "we," "us," "our"), a Delaware corporation. Contact: [email protected]
2. The Services
ThreadJet helps you manage LinkedIn direct messages more efficiently (e.g., inbox organization, search, summaries, reply drafts, reminders). No affiliation with LinkedIn. ThreadJet is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn. "LinkedIn" is a trademark of its respective owner.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 (or the age of majority in your location) to use the Services, and you must have the authority to accept these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organization.
4. Account registration and security
You may need an account to use parts of the Services. You agree to:
- provide accurate information,
- keep credentials secure,
- notify us promptly of unauthorized access.
You are responsible for all activity under your account.
5. Your responsibilities (LinkedIn + compliance)
You are solely responsible for:
- your use of LinkedIn and any other third-party platforms,
- the content you send, draft, or act on using ThreadJet,
- complying with applicable laws and platform terms (including LinkedIn's terms).
We do not provide legal advice, and we do not guarantee that your use of the Services will comply with every third-party policy in every scenario.
6. LinkedIn session access
- The extension may rely on your existing LinkedIn browser session to function.
- We do not ask for or store your LinkedIn password.
- You authorize ThreadJet to access and process LinkedIn messaging data only as needed to provide the features you use.
- LinkedIn (or your browser) may change functionality at any time, which can impact the Services. We do not guarantee ongoing compatibility.
7. AI features
If you use AI features (e.g., summaries, draft replies, categorization), the Service may process relevant message content and minimal metadata as described in our Privacy Notice. AI outputs may be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming any AI-generated content before using it. We do not guarantee outcomes such as response rates, revenue, lead quality, or business results.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to (and not to help others to):
- violate any law, regulation, or third-party rights;
- use the Services for spam, scams, phishing, harassment, or unlawful outreach;
- scrape, harvest, or extract data at scale without authorization;
- bypass, disable, or interfere with security, rate limits, or access controls;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code or underlying models (except where prohibited by law);
- disrupt or overload the Services or infrastructure;
- impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation.
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violate these Terms or create risk to users, third parties, or us.
9. Intellectual property
The Services (including software, UI, branding, and content) are owned by or licensed to Outbox Labs and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your internal business or personal use, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works of the Services.
10. Feedback
If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback ("Feedback"), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use it without compensation or obligation.
11. Third-party services
The Services may integrate with or rely on third-party services (including AI providers, hosting, analytics, and payments). Your use of those services may be governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
12. Plans, billing, and payment
If you purchase a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees and applicable taxes disclosed at checkout. For subscriptions, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors; you agree to their terms where applicable.
13. Lifetime plans
If you purchase a "lifetime" plan, it means lifetime access to the Services as offered by ThreadJet for the lifetime of the product, not your lifetime. We may change features, limits, packaging, and pricing over time. A lifetime plan covers the plan you purchased (and any included features) as reasonably evolved; it does not guarantee access to every future premium feature or third-party cost.
14. Cancellation and refunds
Subscriptions: You may cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise at checkout.
Refunds: Except where required by law or explicitly stated at checkout, payments are non-refundable, including unused time, partial periods, or unused limits. If you believe you were billed in error, contact [email protected] within 7 days of the charge.
15. Service changes, beta features, and availability
We may add, remove, or modify features; impose or adjust limits; or suspend/discontinue the Services at any time. Some features may be labeled beta/preview and may be unstable. The Services are provided "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime or error-free operation.
16. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services anytime.
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if:
- you violate these Terms,
- your use creates risk or legal exposure,
- required by law, or
- necessary to prevent harm, abuse, or security issues.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services stops. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive (including IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and jurisdiction).
17. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- the Services will meet your requirements,
- the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free,
- AI outputs will be accurate,
- third-party platforms will continue to allow the same access patterns.
18. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUTBOX LABS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL.
IN ANY EVENT, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWO (2) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM (OR $100 USD IF YOU PAID NOTHING), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
19. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Outbox Labs and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- your use of the Services,
- your violation of these Terms,
- your violation of any law or third-party rights,
- your content, outreach, or messaging activities.
20. Privacy
Our Privacy Notice explains how we collect and use data. By using the Services, you agree to the Privacy Notice.
21. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.
22. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms and update the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we may notify you through the Services or via email. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
23. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement: These Terms + the Privacy Notice are the entire agreement regarding the Services.
- Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
- Assignment: We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
